Wendy Villeneuve is a Senior Financial Recovery Service Administrator for BDO Canada Limited servicing our various offices located in Oshawa, Ajax, and Bowmanville, Ontario. With over 20 years’ experience in the financial recovery industry, Wendy has helped hundreds of individuals through the bankruptcy and consumer proposal process. She has also been involved with several large corporate bankruptcies and restructuring proposals.
Wendy completed her Insolvency Administrator’s accreditation in 1997 and obtained her Insolvency Counsellor’s Certificate in 1998, where she provides counseling to insolvent individuals assisting them in establishing good financial habits. She is a member of the National Insolvency Qualification Program through the Canadian Association of Insolvency Restructuring Professionals and holds the designation of a Commissioner of Oaths for Taking Affidavits with respect to insolvency matters.
Wendy attended Durham College where she completed the Legal Administration Program in 1990 and subsequently attended Trent University obtaining her Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) degree in 2008.
She is a supporter and regular attendee at many of the local Oshawa, Whitby, Ajax and Clarington Board of Trade events. As well, Wendy has been very involved raising funds for various charities in the community including Big Brothers and Sisters of Oshawa/Whitby; Canadian Cancer Society; Loaves and Fishes Food Bank; Habitat for Humanity; Feed the Need in Durham; Durham Children’s Aid Foundation and Grandview Children’s Centre. Wendy also enjoys attending country music festivals and spending quality time with her husband and three children.
